ABOUT
Protecting the Story From the Inside
Golden Guardian Productions is built on a single conviction: the most important work a producer can do is protect what makes a story worth telling.
ALANA DUQUM — FOUNDER | PRODUCER
Alana Duqum is a film and television producer whose work is defined by a fierce commitment to creative integrity. She founded Golden Guardian Productions to build a company where the story and the people who make it are always protected. With a background spanning development, production, and executive producing, Alana brings a full-spectrum understanding of what it takes to shepherd a project from first draft to final cut, working alongside some of the most respected names in the industry, including executive producing the acclaimed film It's Complicated alongside Zoe Saldaña. Her approach is rooted in trust with writers, directors, talent, and audiences, and a belief that the producer's role is to create the conditions in which great work can happen.
PRODUCING PHILOSOPHY
The Golden Wings
The name Golden Guardian comes from a simple idea: every story needs a guardian. Someone who stands between the creative vision and the forces — commercial, logistical, political — that would compromise it.
01
DEVELOPMENT
Great productions begin long before cameras roll. We invest deeply in the development process — working with writers and directors to build stories that are structurally sound, emotionally resonant, and ready to survive the pressures of production.
02
COLLABORATION
We believe the best work comes from genuine creative partnership. We don't impose a vision — we protect and amplify the vision of the storytellers we work with, providing the resources, relationships, and advocacy they need to do their best work.
03
INTEGRITY
From the first conversation to the final delivery, we hold the line on what matters. Story integrity, authentic representation, and respect for the audience are non-negotiable at every stage of production.

Work With Us
We are selective about the projects we take on. If you have a story worth protecting, we want to hear about it.
